Planning, Assessment, and Institutional Research

The Office of Planning, Assessment, and Institutional Research is responsible for measuring institutional effectiveness at Mount Saint Mary College.

Planning

Our planning responsibilities include overseeing the development, implementation and measurement of the strategic plan, thereby insuring that all institutional efforts are in service of the MSMC mission. We are also a coordinating body, facilitating the integration of the academic, financial and facilities master plans to support the Mount’s mission. Planning: Our 2009-2014 strategic plan may be found here.

Institutional Research

We conduct institutional research in support of policy formation, decision-making, assessment, and compliance reporting. We collect, analyze, and disseminate information to multiple campus constituents and serve as an active resource for campus leadership. View Quick Facts about Mount Saint Mary College

Assessment

Finally, we provide institutional oversight of all assessment activities in the curriculum and co-curriculum to meet our mission-driven educational goals. Assessment efforts allow us to insure we are meeting our mission, providing a quality education, engaging in continuous improvement, and making data-informed decisions.
