Mount Saint Mary College is a private,
4-year liberal arts college founded by the Sisters of Saint Dominic
of Newburgh in 1959.
Location. Newburgh, New York. The Mount is
conveniently located in the lower Hudson Valley, midway between New
York City and New York's capital city, Albany.
Enrollment/Student Body Profile. Our student
body is made up of 2,700+ students representing over 16 states and
several countries. 1,800 are traditional undergraduate
students.
Academic Programs. The Mount offers over 50
undergraduate programs leading to a bachelor of arts or bachelor of
science degree. Our collaboration programs offer you a chance to
earn a bachelor's plus an advanced degree with schools like Fordham
University, Pace University, and New York Medical College. The
college also offers master's degrees in education, business, and
nursing.

majority of whom hold a Ph.D. or the highest terminal degree in

Costs. The Mount is a competitively-priced
private school. Tuition is set at $21,210 for the 2009-10 academic
year; Room & Board is $11,584 (New Room-Ultimate/Flex Meal
Plan); and Fees equal $720 for a total annual cost of $33,514. (An
additional $225 Fee will apply to first-time freshmen.)
Financial Aid. More than 94% of Mount students
received financial aid in the form of scholarships, grants, loans,
or part-time employment based on academic promise or need.
Housing. The Mount's residence halls feature
suite-style living, movie lounges, computer rooms, recreation
areas, laundry facilities, and a workout room. Our upperclassmen
live in College Courts, our townhouse-like apartments on campus.

Athletic teams. The Mount offers 15 Division
III Intercollegiate teams including Men's Baseball, Basketball,

Volleyball.
