Mount Saint Mary College’s Aquinas Hall Theatre will host a multicultural concert for the Newburgh Illuminated festival of arts, heritage, and music.

The Illumination Festival Choir and the Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra will perform “The Testament of Freedom” and “The Last Words of King David” by Randall Thompson, a Gospel mass by Robert Ray, and an orchestra performance of Manuel de Falla’s “Tres Picos de Sombrero.”

The event will conclude with an audience sing-along of the Wilhowski arrangement of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” a crowd-pleasing favorite.

The concert will feature the talents of the Orange County Classic Choral Society, the Newburgh Symphonic Chorale, the Middletown Chorale, the Warwick Chorale, members of local church choirs in the Newburgh and New Windsor areas, and professional soloists.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for students, and free for children.
