Bio
Professor Niemotko has been a member of the New York State
Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1991 and currently
serves as President-Elect of the Mid-Hudson Chapter. She has taught
accounting for 25 years and promotes the profession by setting a
standard of excellence for a career in accounting as a lifelong
learning process.
She was awarded the 2012 New York State Society of Certified
Public Accountants Dr. Emanuel Saxe Outstanding CPA in Education
Award, which highlights distinguished service, excellence in
teaching, and promotion of the accounting profession.
The second edition of her book, Accounting Basics: A
Survival Guide for Students, has been published by
Kendall-Hunt (August 2012).
