Community Education

The Center for Community and Educational Services (CCES) offers noncredit, life enrichment courses and programs geared to the adult learner.

You can gain valuable skills, expand your mind, and perhaps even find a new interest or vocation. (See the Spring 2010 Noncredit Course brochure.)

CCES offers courses in the day, evening, and in Saturday sessions taught at the college’s beautiful Desmond Campus in Balmville.

The center aims to maintain a balance between the practical and cultural aspects of learning. We also offer courses designed for adults age 55 and older called Learning is Forever Enriching (L.I.F.E.), and we offer the Exploritas program at our campus every summer.

The LIFE program offers many day trips and explorations throughout New York City and the Hudson Valley that feature the arts, history, architecture, literature, music, the Hudson River, and many other topics. We encourage and welcome suggestions for new courses, programs and seminars.

Find out  more about our Exploritas and L.I.F.E. (+55) programs, our noncredit courses, and our Professional Development programs in our menu.

You can register online safely and securely for our Noncredit courses and our L.I.F.E. programs. Call us for more information at 845-565-2076, or e-mail  desmondcampus@msmc.edu
