Gainful Employment Programs
The Mount has a post-master's degree certificate in two nursing
programs that qualifies for the new Federal Gainful Employment
regulations. The CIP code is 511.699. The date that the last cohort
completed was May 2010; in which we had two students start the
program, and one complete. This equates to a 50% rate of
completion. Our data indicates that both students went on to
working in the nursing profession, equalling a 100% placement
rate.
Records show that neither students borrowed private alternative
loans for their tuition. Neither student borrowed any funds through
the Mount's Monthly Payment Plan or MPP; their known amount of
indebtedness is zero. The nursing certificate program does not
qualify for Federal Title IV funding.
The expected cost of the program for one year (part-time
studies, 6 credit hours each for fall/spring) will be $9,080 for
part-time tuition + fees, plus an additional $500. estimated cost
for books. This brings the estimated cost for this program to
$9,580 for one year of part-time study. Please contact the Student
Account Office for costs of full-time study.
