2014 Brazil Interim Session

Mount Saint Mary College offers training programs for college-level business students from emerging countries. With a focus on health management, the goal is to empower participants with current management tools and provide an international experience.

This program, geared to college students and recent graduates, includes intensive three-week sessions with full-time classes and activities. The program will take place in the January Interim Session at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York.

To provide access for students from emerging countries, students are supported by scholarships that can cover 70% of their course expenditures. This program, active in Latin America since 2003, has already welcomed more than 700 students from prestigious educational institutions, both public and private.

We invite everyone to learn about and to participate in these programs.

                                                                       Prof. Ricardo de Britto Pitelli
Doctor of Business Administration from FEA / USP
Representative of State University of New York and Mount Saint Mary College

General Description

The courses are aimed at undergraduates and recent graduates in healthcare and other fields with an interest in pursuing studies in specific areas (see course listings below), as well as developing English language proficiency.

The goal is to add business education to its formation, providing the students with an advanced vision of contemporary topics on the chosen theme and a vital international experience. Classes are taught entirely in English.

The courses are three weeks long. To ensure close contact between teacher and students, classes include from 15 to 30 participants. In January, classes will be taught at Mount Saint Mary College, except of course for Health Care Management that happens both in January and in July at MSMC.

A program tailored to your needs
The courses allow students to leverage their expertise in an international program without having to disconnect from their universities or internship in their country or countries of origin. The programs, equivalent to a postgraduate extension, were structured for January, leaving free three weekends in one of the most sought- after tourist regions of the world.

Students earn certificates (see below details on the certification issued to participants) at the end of these classes, with weekly assignments and seminars. The goal is to structure a program quite participatory and concrete, in which students engage in the development of practical activities.
