Professional Development

The Office of Professional Development offers programs to help adult professionals expand their workplace and professional capabilities.

These can be standard presentations, configured to the general needs of most area employers, or they can be programs custom-tailored to a school district’s or other organization’s specific needs.

The college regularly works with and assists school district personnel and further local employers in building and developing new capabilities among their staff or acquiring new teaching and learning strategies. Our expert consultants work with employers and their employees and with school administrators and district staff and professionals to establish program objectives, schedules, and locations to meet their needs as quickly and conveniently as possible.

We currently offer the following development programs: professional development for school districts; The Lucy DiPaola Institute for Professional Development; professional development for businesses and organizations; and certificate programs in the areas of grant writing, gerontology, and coaching.
