We want to help you put your higher education goals within
reach, starting with these steps to financial assistance.
Step 1: FAFSA 4caster
This tool
allows you to estimate
your expected family contribution number or EFC. Your EFC is
what determines the types and award amounts that you are eligible
to receive. This is an estimating tool
only.
Step 2: Complete the FAFSA
More than the FAFSA 4caster estimating
tool, this is the official
application website. A FAFSA is required to award
federal need-based aid. You may complete your FAFSA anytime after January 1,
2012 for fall consideration. Returning students should file the
renewal FAFSA no later than March 31.
Step 3: For New York State
residents
At the end of your FAFSA application,
you'll see a link to your state grant website. If you are a New
York state resident, clicking on the link will bring you to the New
York State Higher Education Services website, where you can
complete your Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application for a
state grant.
Mount Saint Mary College Code number: 002778. Remember to list Mount
Saint Mary College, Newburgh NY 12550 as the recipient.
Additional opportunities
Adult students can take advantage of our new online monthly payment program for
Tuition & Fees.
Attention, education students: The TEACH
Program (Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher
Education) is a federal grant program that provides funds to
students who are completing, or plan to complete, coursework toward
a career in teaching. All program participants agree to serve for
at least 4 out of 8 years after graduation in a high-need field,
and work in certain school districts. For more information, please
see the TEACH
Program website.
