Courtney is responsible for recruiting interested and qualified
students to the Mount’s three graduate programs through community
outreach, networking with local businesses and organizations, and
visiting graduate school fairs throughout the region.
Courtney has a diverse professional background, and has worked
previously as a program director in a non-profit agency providing
vocational rehabilitation services to adults with psychiatric
disabilities, and as a psychotherapist in private practice.
However, the majority of Courtney’s prior experience is in higher
education, where she has held positions in student affairs,
residence life, as well as graduate and law admissions.
Courtney holds a bachelor of arts degree from the State
University of New York College at Oneonta, where she majored in
political science. In 2007, Courtney earned a master of science
degree in counseling from Pace University.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Courtney is very
active in local community and faith-based organizations, including
currently serving as a board member for the Down Syndrome
Association of the Hudson Valley and Orange AHRC.
