Graduate Admissions

Getting Started

If you are considering continuing your education and obtaining a master's degree, we're sure you have questions. How do I apply? How much does it cost? Can I balance my life, work, and studies? By following this step-by-step guide, you will find many of the answers you are looking for. You'll also find contact information to speak with College staff for the ones you don't!

Step One: Visit our website

Tour our website, which will give you a sense of our programs and our commitment to the busy graduate student. Look for our upcoming Information Sessions, where you can meet with the graduate recruiter and learn more about our master's degree programs.

Step Two: Contact the Office of Graduate Admissions

There are several ways to learn more about our programs and application process through the Office of Gradaute Admissions. You can send an online inquiry form to the graduate recruiter's office to have information mailed to you.

We also welcome you to call or visit campus! Contact Courtney McDermott at 845-569-3402 to set up an appointment or discuss any questions you may have about graduate school at the Mount.

Finally, you can visit Graduate Admissions staff at a College Fair near you! Visit the graduate recruiter's page to find a list of colleges we will be visiting.

Step Three: Apply Online

Complete an online MSMC Graduate Application and have all of your official transcripts sent. (See our admission requirements and application procedures in the MSMC Graduate Catalog for specific program information.) All supporting documentation can be forwarded to the following address:
