Mount Saint Mary College is pleased to announce that
applications for the Dominican Sisters of Hope Scholarships are
available in the Financial Aid Office.
This scholarship is open to continuing traditional and
accelerated undergraduate women who adhere to and demonstrate the
qualities of the Dominican traditions of Mount Saint Mary
College.
The application process requires the student to write an essay
enumerating her activities, service to the Mount and her community,
special interests, career goals and the reason for applying for the
scholarship. She must also demonstrate academic achievement.
The essay is a very important part of your application. Please
include everything required, including financial need.
Two letters of recommendation are also required, and it is
strongly suggested that at least one letter be from a professor
from the Mount.
The application, essay and recommendations must be returned to
the Financial Aid Office not later than April 22, 2011.
