towards her bachelor of science (RN to BS) in nursing degree
Mount Saint Mary College now offers its RN to bachelor of
science (RN to BS) in nursing degree program online.
A bachelor’s degree in nursing is a must-have credential for
nurses interested in career advancement.
“At the Mount, we’ve been preparing nurses for 50 years,”
explained Andrea Ackerman, nursing division chair. “Now we’re
bringing that expertise to you online.”
Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education
(CCNE), the Mount’s RN to BS nursing degree program offers
flexibility and convenience to busy students. The innovative online
format makes it easier to arrange coursework with any schedule.
Students work with faculty in person only during a brief, on-campus
physical assessment session for practical skill building.

Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, says that the
online program gave her the opportunity to earn her degree while
working and caring for her eight-month-old child.
“It’s just so convenient,” she said. “I usually wait until my
daughter goes to sleep, and then do the homework.”
The Mount brings its tradition of personal attention into the
digital world with a comprehensive orientation and ongoing support
through the state-of-the-art learning management system, eClass. RN
to BS candidates enjoy fast access to coursework, the college’s
library, and national and international libraries.

and physical therapy, the Mount’s renowned nursing programs boast
