It's not your dad's college cafeteria.
Newly expanded and renovated, the new Mount Saint Mary College
Dining Hall seats 335 diners in its capacious 9,500 square-foot
space.
The new earth-toned furnishings include soft-seat booths, round
banquettes, and ambient lighting. Floor-to ceiling windows overlook
the Hudson River, and the"smart counter" allows students to plug in
laptops while stopping for a meal. There's also a take-out service
now for students on the go with healthy, diverse choices.
Three flat-screen TVs and a new sound system provide
entertainment and a source for campus-wide communication. The
engaging atmosphere and expanded food choices help make the dining
experience a relaxing break in the day for students.
These renovations were completed as part of a $2.7 million gift
from Sodexo Food Services to the Mount. The whole Mount community
is grateful.
