For Parents

The Mount's community extends far beyond campus borders.

We're proud of our close community of parents and family members who celebrate and support their student's college experiences. An informed, engaged family plays an instrumental role in a student's educational success.

We know that it's important for you to know how your child will live and what their educational experiences are like. These pages are designed to answer any questions that you may have.

Please contact Student Development at 845-569-3110 with any questions, or view our Campus Directory for any other areas.

News for Parents

Governor David Paterson released the state’s Executive Budget for next year, cutting the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) by more than $71 million, including eliminating TAP for graduate students.

More than 40% of students at Mount Saint Mary College rely on state assistance to meet their college costs each year. We ask for your help in calling on NY’s Legislators to restore these funds. Your voice makes a difference. Please stand up for student aid!

Here's what you can do to help.
