Mount Saint Mary College students presented the New York
premiere of The Pact on April 15, 16, and 17, 2010, in
Aquinas Theatre.
Jeannette Angell’s play, based on the best-selling novel by Jodi
Picoult, questions whether a teenage girl’s death is suicide or
murder. Angell visited the Mount in February to work with the
student performers and to discuss the play with the public.
The cast included: Adam Albert, a senior communication arts
major from Newburgh, as Jordan McAfee; Caitlin Bish, a junior human
services major from Poughkeepsie, as Elaine Ross; Paul Colombo, a
junior social sciences major from Brewster, as James Harte; Erica
Echeverria, a junior psychology major from Pocono Pines, PA, as
Emily Gold; Joyce Hausermann, a freshman English major from
Saugerties, as Jennifer Pasquale; Brian Klose, a freshman English
major from Wantagh, as Chris Harte; Angela Lisi, a sophomore
chemistry major from Flemington, NJ, as Susan Phillips; Jennifer
Saracino, a junior communication arts major from Port Ewen, as Sam
Taylor; Melissa Tiburcio, a junior psychology major from Chestnut
Ridge, as Gus Harte; Lauren Thayer, a senior information technology
major from Middletown, as Barrie Delaney; Erin-Therese Vecchi, a
freshman English major from Levittown, as Melanie Gold; and Elise
Williams, a sophomore international studies major from Cornwall, as
Teresa Christiansen.
The stage manager was Jennifer Dobies, a sophomore English major
from Durham.
