'Sex Signals' Presentation

February 12, 2014 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Aquinas Hall Theatre

The Culture of Life: Love Yourself, Be Yourself, Be the Example Committee is happy to be bringing the program 'Sex Signals' to MSMC. Through the use of humor, the show explores how mixed messages, gender role stereotypes, and unrealistic fantasies contribute to misunderstandings between the sexes. Students are thus engaged in a candid discussion on dating and the realities of date rape as they are challenged to provide solutions that will better improve communications in interpersonal relationships. All of the performers have extensive training in interactive theater and sexual assault prevention education.

Since the program’s inception in 2000, Sex Signals has performed over 1000 shows at over 400 colleges and universities, making it one of the country’s most popular lecture programs. Some of these colleges are Notre Dame, Villanova, Sacred Heart University, Dominican College, Marist, and many more!
