MSMC Theatre

New video! Watch students from Professor Irene Nunnari's class on Shakespeare perform selections in Shakespeare the Great!

MSMC Theatre has a rich history in presenting drama, comedies, musicals, and improvisation at the College. Over the years, and under the direction of innovative faculty directors Irene Nunnari, James Beard, and James Phillips (respectively and most recently), the theatre program has developed a loyal following of students and alumni.

As Mount students engage in the theatrical process, they create bonds with the arts, with faculty, and with one another that last a lifetime. Read what some of our alumni say about their experiences in the performing arts at the Mount.

There's a club for students interested in the performing arts called Different Stages that unites thespians, stage managers, and technical lighting and set designers.

The Mount offers a minor in theatre arts, as well as a minor in theatre arts and music.
