What is Mount Money?
Residents, commuters, faculty and staff have the option of using
their MSMC ID card, instead of cash or a credit card for a more
convenient and safe way to spend money on and off campus. It
is a prepaid account on your MSMC ID Card.
With your Mount ID, you will have two accounts. One account will
be exclusively for food services using the meal plan and Advantage
Dollars, and the other, Mount Money, can be used in the Campus
Store, vending machines around campus, washers and dryers, the
Aquinas Dining Hall, Jazzman’s Café, Sandella's, Hudson Smart
Market, and off-campus location, too! Please see the list of on-

How do I get started with Mount Money?
It’s easy to put money on your account. You can put as little as
$10 on your account by logging into your student portal online and
clicking on the link under Student Resources. Or,
you can click here. You can also visit the
Mount Money coordinator in the Finance Office in Aquinas Hall,
where you will be able to deposit money with cash, check, or credit
cards during business hours. There is a Value Port located in the
Hudson Hall lobby area next to the ATM and vending machines that
you can use to add cash to your card 24 hours a day.
Please keep in mind that Mount Money is not to replace your Meal
Plan Money. All resident students are required to sign up for a
Meal Plan.
For commuting students, there are also meal plan options. You
may sign up for plans that will allow you to use all of our dining
facilities. Commuters may sign up for a specific meal plan by
contacting Sodexo Dining Services at 845-569-3186.
Resident students will get this information with their housing
contract.
