The Office of Disability Services provides individualized
support to students with disabilities.
It is the mission of the Office of Disability Services
to provide individualized support to students with disabilities to
ensure access to a complete education, to promote full independence
in the academic environment and the greater society, and to
increase awareness and sensitivity of the campus and community of
the need of individuals with disabilities.
Disability Services offers classroom and academic
accommodations, testing accommodations, consultation advocacy, and
assistance with campus accessibility.
Disability Services acts as a resource for students, faculty and
staff who need assistance in addressing disability issues and
concerns. Disability Services coordinates Mount Saint Mary
College’s academic and non-academic campus accommodations
(including temporary disabilities), assists students in
communicating needs to faculty and staff, and works collaboratively
with other departments to resolve any concerns related to
disability needs that may arise.
We are located in Aquinas 100, and are open from 8:30 am to 4:30
pm, Monday through Thursday and 8:30-4:00 on Friday. Please stop by
our office, call us at 845-569-3638, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
for more information.
