You’re ready for college. We’re ready to help you get here.
In 2009-10, approximately 94% of our students received some form
of financial aid. Over 36 million dollars was awarded in college,
federal, state and private financial assistance.
The Financial Aid Office of Mount Saint Mary College believes
that a college education is one of the most important investments a
student will make. We are dedicated to assisting students and their
families navigate the financial aid process. We'll show you why and
how The Mount is not only a quality education, but an
affordable one.
To understand affordability, it is essential that families
understand net cost. The net cost is the difference between the
published tuition and fees and the financial aid a student will
receive. In other words, it’s the bottom line.
“Sticker price”, or the published amount for tuition & fees,
can be misleading. Most students will never pay the full sticker
price, in fact, at The Mount, the sticker price for 2009-2010 is
$21,930, but on average, our freshmen received over half
that amount in financial aid.

A value-rich, liberal arts education is within your reach at
Mount Saint Mary College. We’ll help you get here.
