Dining Services

The Mount offers several dining options for students.

Mount Saint Mary College's on-campus dining options:

  • The View in Aquinas Hall offers hot, home style entrees, freshly baked pizza and pasta, deli choices, daily specials, ice cream, and desserts, all served buffet-style for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Henry's Courtside in Hudson Hall serves a variety of wraps, pizzas, and quesadillas, and offers value meals and grilled items as well.
  • The Hudson Market in Hudson Hall has a menu of sandwiches, soups, salads, baked items, veggies and fruit, yogurt, desserts, and hot microwaveable meals, as well as coffee and beverages to go.
  • Jazzman's Cafe in Aquinas Hall offers sandwiches, wraps, salads, baked goods, fruit, snacks, and desserts, as well as specialty hot and cold beverages.
  • The Dominican Center Cafe is a one-stop shop for a meal on the go. In addition to breakfast bars and sandwiches, bagels and muffins, we have snacks, candy, and healthy options to choose from. You will find freshly-made wraps, sandwiches, entrees, pasta dishes, individual vegetable platters, salads, fruit, and parfaits all made on premise daily.

To meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for Mount students:

  • The Ultimate Access Plus $175: Unlimited dining access at the dining hall and 2 Guest Meal Passes, plus $175 Advantage Dining Dollars. Available to all students.
  • The Ultimate Access Plus $50: Unlimited dining access at the dining hall and 3 Guest Meal Passes plus $50 Advantage Dining Dollars per semester. (All resident freshmen will default to our Ultimate Access plus $50 for their first year.)
  • The Ultimate 15: 15 meals per week in the Dining Hall and $125 in Advantage Dining Dollars per semester.
  • The Ultimate 12: 12 meals per week in the Dining Hall and $175 in Advantage Dining Dollars per semester.
  • The Ultimate 10: 10 meals per week in the Dining Hall and $225 in Advantage Dining Dollars per semester.
  • The Ultimate Buy Up: Purchase an additional $125 in Advantage Dining Dollars to any Dining Plan for $75.

Advantage Dining Dollars is another feature adding flexibility to dining options. Various dollar amounts are incorporated into each Ultimate Dining Plan. Spend it like cash at all dining service locations on campus. Additional Dining Dollars are also tax exempt. They are allotted by semester and carry over from fall to spring, but end on the last day of the academic calendar.

Resident students sign up for meal plans during the housing process. Students are sent a housing contract along with a meal plan form. This meal plan form is sent back along with the contract to the Office of Residence Life.

Commuters

Commuters and off campus students have the ability to select any of the meal plan options. With a meal plan, students will enjoy a reduced cost meal by saving at the door in the Aquinas Dining Hall, because meal plans are tax exempt.

With a meal plan, you don’t have to worry about carrying cash and you know a great dining experience is just a few steps away. Commuters may sign up for meal plans with Dining Services.
