Academic Assistance
Coop Photo Students seeking academic assistance are recommended to the Office of Outcome Assessment and Developmental Instruction. The office supports learning through placement tests, developmental courses in reading, writing and mathematics, and a diverse tutorial program.

Free individualized tutoring is available to all Mount Saint Mary College undergraduates interested in enhancing their reading, writing, study and research skills and to those having difficulties with a specific course. Tutors are undergraduate peers. Professional assistance is also available in writing, test taking techniques and time management.

The Office of Outcomes Assessments and Developmental Instruction also conducts periodic assessments of student learning and student satisfaction. These reviews help improve the quality of teaching and learning at the Mount - a goal shared by students, faculty and administrators.
