Finance
See yourself as a Business Management and Administration major with a concentration in Finance.
Perhaps you were always good with money. Perhaps you knew how to budget the money you earned from summer jobs. Perhaps you dream of one day managing huge sums of money for a large corporation.
If you like the financial aspect of business management and administration, then you should consider a concentration in Finance.
As a Business Management and Administration major, you will concentrate on courses directly related to finance theory and practice. And when you graduate you will be prepared to enter the financial world with sound footing. And practical experience if you take advantage of our co-op and internship programs with leading financial institutions. You will also be prepared to continue your education on the graduate level.
Whatever route you choose to take, the Mount will prepare you well.
The liberal arts tradition
While it is very important to concentrate on one area of study, we believe that exposure to courses in other disciplines will develop you as a whole person. No matter what course of study you pursue at the Mount, you will take a number of required courses in the liberal arts (arts and letters, natural science, math, social science, and philosophy and religion) to ensure you of a well-rounded education. Combined with the elective courses you choose to take, you will become a critical thinker and a life-long learner.
