The Business Division
The Division of Business at Mount Saint Mary College prepares students for a wide variety of careers as business professionals. Our programs combine a strong liberal arts core curriculum with accounting, management, finance, economics and marketing courses. The business community has repeatedly endorsed our programs. More than 90% of our graduates receive immediate employment.
Students who have proven themselves academically may participate in internships and cooperative education opportunities that are designed to provide them with firsthand experience in a business environment. Internships/co-ops are often with major corporations such as IBM, Toyota Motor Credit Corp and The Bank of New York. They may also be with investment exchanges such as the New York Stock Exchange or the Commodities Exchange, or with governmental agencies.
With special permission, undergraduate students majoring in Business may take up to 6 graduate credits in the college's MBA program during their senior year.
