The Center for Community and Educational Services (CCES) offers a spectrum of noncredit courses and programs to geared to the adult learner. CCES offers adult courses to individuals to help them gain valuable skills and enrich their lives.

The center aims to maintain a balance between the practical and the cultural aspects of learning. CCES also offers a program of courses designed for adults age 55 and older called Learning is Forever Enriching (L.I.F.E.), and offer the Elderhostel program at our campus every summer.

CCES reaches out to the community to meet specific needs and contributes to the quality of life in the mid-Hudson area.  It embraces Mount Saint Mary College’s mission, the strong commitment to lifelong learning. CCES encourages and welcomes suggestions for new courses, programs and seminars.

Each year, CCES offers courses in the day, evening, and in Saturday sessions taught at the college’s scenic Desmond Campus in Balmville. Find out about our Elderhostel, L.I.F.E.  program (55+), noncredit courses, defensive driving and pre-licensing classes.
