Beading is an enjoyable art form that allows much creativity. Using color and different techniques is a great way to express yourself artistically. In this class you will create and complete earrings, a necklace and a bracelet. Supply fee: $50 includes materials to make the jewelry and will also include items needed to continue with other projects when class is over. Limit 6 people.

Oil Painting and Acrylics

Learn how you can transform a stark canvas into a vivid still life or landscape. Working with experienced artist, Carol Galietta, you will learn how to analyze and depict form using color, highlights, and shadow, so that your work will begin to take on meaning and beauty. Instruction on perspective and medium application techniques will help you create paintings anyone will enjoy and of which you can be proud. Class size will be limited to 10 students.

Beginning Drawing Class

Watercolors

Students will observe a watercolor demonstration from a sketch to a completed painting. Choosing their own subject, students will then demonstrate the use of watercolors from a basic drawing to a completed painting.

Len DeVirgilio has been a graphic designer for over 40 years. All his work experience has been in New York, working in advertising agencies and design studios on national accounts. He is a graduate of the School of Art and Design and also attended the School of Visual Arts. Since retiring from the commercial art field, he has been doing the one thing he truly enjoys - painting in the watercolor media.
