Off-Campus Database Access

When you are not on the Mount Saint Mary College campus, you can still log into the library's research databases.

Start at the library’s homepage and select a database from one of the options under the Find Information link, according to your needs.

Once you select a database, you will be prompted for your MSMC username and password. Input them and you will be allowed to access the database. You will be able to access multiple databases with a single log-in.

If you are having trouble logging in, call the Library Check-out Desk at 845-569-3600 during our open hours and ask one of our staff members for assistance.

Problems logging in to online databases and online reference sources

You may occasionally encounter problems logging into certain resources. When entering ID numbers, usernames, and/or passwords, be careful not to make typographical errors. In some cases, it's a good idea to clear your Internet cache (temporary Internet files) and restart your Internet browser. Also, be sure that your browser accepts cookies.
