The Center for Adolescent Research and Development, in collaboration with the Mid-Hudson School Study Council, will host a Coffee Hour for Counselors to discuss Combatting Bullying in Schools.

3-3:50 pm: Coffee and conversation
4-5 pm: Guest speaker and questions

Guest Speaker: Jayme Weis, MSW, trainer for Restorative Justice, Olweus Anti-Bullying and Safe School Ambassador (Community Matters)

Newly enacted New York State Dignity for all Students Act (DASA) mandates both awareness and action by all school personnel. This session will provide information on specific tools to address bullying in schools.

Guidance counselors, school psychologists, social workers, and school administrators are welcome to attend. Through these sessions, we hope to provide information, and a safe space for conversation and dialogue.

Admission is free.
