Celebrating World Creativity & Innovation Week

Library Week will be a showcase for the creativity and accomplishments of Mount students, faculty and staff – not to mention a chance to kick back and relax. Curtin Memorial Library hosts a full week of informative, fun, and inspiring events. Some of the highlights are shown below. Please plan to join us!

MSMC Alma Mater Sing-Alongs: Mon, 4/15 and Wed, 4/17 at Noon
Come learn the words and music, and be ready to rock the crowd at commencement!

Creativity in the Classroom: Mon, 4/15 at 2:30 pm
Yasmine Kalkstein (Social Sciences), James Phillips (Arts and Letters), and Ludmilla Smirnova (Education) talk about their creative approaches, projects, and assignments.

Celebrating MSMC Authors: Tues, 4/16 at 4 pm
Hear about how faculty authors have been inspired to publish. Delicious food and fascinating conversation!

SmartBoard Workshop: Wed, 4/17 at 2:30 pm
Free introductory session led by Ludmilla Smirnova, Education. Curtin Memorial Library will pay the $20 registration fee for up to 12 attendees.

K. L. Going, Young Adult Literature Author: Thurs, 4/18 at 11 am
Meet award-winning author K. L. Going for a discussion of her books and her journey as a writer. Books available for sale and signing. (See the movie made from “Fat Kid Rules the World” on Wed, 4/17 at 9 pm.)
