Separating Fact from Fiction in the Climate Change Debate

Immediately following the Easter holiday, on Tuesday, April 22, iROC welcomes Dr. Adam J. Kalkstein from the U.S. Military Academy for a special Earth Day presentation entitled Separating Fact from Fiction in the Climate Change Debate.

Climate change has become a highly contentious issue riddled with politics and misinformation. Through a discussion of potential climate change impacts such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and droughts, this talk will examine the science behind climate change while highlighting the many questions and uncertainties that remain.

Adam Kalkstein is Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering at West Point with an expertise in climate change and human health. His lecture will take place on Tuesday, April 22 at 7 pm, in the MSMC Library, Room 218.
