Division of Natural Sciences

The Division of Natural Sciences offers a variety of courses from astronomy and earth science to organic chemistry and animal physiology.

Students may earn a Bachelor of Arts in Biology or Chemistry. Course requirements also prepare students for graduate study; medical, veterinary, or dental school; and careers in industry or education.

The division also offers collaboration programs with other institutions in Physical Therapy (leading to a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College), and Podiatry (leading to a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine). 

Students interested in Adolescence Education may earn a Bachelor of Arts in Biology or Chemistry and a Master of Science in Adolescence Education in only five years.

The division also offers students an opportunity to pursue an Interdisciplinary Studies program with a General Science concentration. This program is intended for students planning to obtain certification in Childhood Education and provides a broad background in biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science.
