Allen Koehler joined Mount Saint Mary College in September 2013
as the Assistant Director of International Admissions and
Recruitment. Originally from the Cincinnati, Ohio area, he attended
William Henry Harrison High School and was recruited to run track
and cross country at Wagner College. He completed his bachelor’s
degree in International Affairs with a Political Science
concentration and a minor in French Studies.
After graduation, Allen worked in politics for the Independence
Party of Manhattan during the 2009 mayoral election. After the
election, Allen returned to Wagner College as an Admissions
Counselor. In 2011, he was promoted to Coordinator of International
Recruitment, where he started their international admissions
During his time in international admissions, Allen presents to
students and families across the world about attending school in
the United States and navigating the admissions process. He also
works with students applying for their F-1 Student Visa.
Allen currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
