Admissions Counselor

Mount Saint Mary College is currently accepting applications for a full time Admissions Counselor. The ideal candidate will develop an in-depth knowledge base about the College and its academic and extracurricular programs and articulate these programs to prospective students, their families, guidance counselors and the community. Position requires conducting high school visits and attending college fairs in selected territories, increasing application and deposit activity; providing regular territory analysis and feedback. Assist with daily operations of the Office of Admissions through presentations, interviews, on/off campus events, Open Houses and receptions as well as email, social media and phone call campaigns. Regular evening and weekend work are required. A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of six to twelve month experience in recruitment, public relations, marketing or a related field, preferably in a college or university setting is required. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to speak Spanish preferred. Candidates must be willing to travel extensively and possess a valid driver’s license.
