Mount Saint Mary College invites applications for a tenure track
appointment to begin in August 2014 in Production and Operations
Management to teach a range of courses and topics such as
operations, supply chain management, project planning, quantitative
analysis, quality management, management of technology and
innovation to traditional and non-traditional students at the
graduate and undergraduate levels.
We seek an individual who can maintain and strengthen the
prominence that production management plays in our programs, help
our students build a strong appreciation for and understanding of
the role of production and operations in producing value in an
enterprise, and who has an interest in working with colleagues to
develop programs that include the application of concepts and
techniques drawn from production and operations management to
specific sectors and industries.
Teaching experience at the college level is required, as is an
understanding of and support for our mission of integration of
liberal and professional study and a commitment to teaching,
maintaining a program of relevant scholarship, supervising student
research projects, advising students, serving on college
committees, and collaborating in the development of the graduate
and undergraduate programs in the School of Business and the
Mount Saint Mary College is a liberal arts college located in

A Doctoral degree in Production, Operations, or Systems
Management, or a related field is required, either in hand or in
the final stages of completion at time of appointment.
