Mount Saint Mary College of Physician Assistant Studies is
seeking an experienced, dynamic educator and invites applications
for a twelve-month position in the program of Physician Assistant
Studies. The successful applicant will serve as the program’s
Academic Coordinator. Qualifications include: NCCPA certification,
licensure or eligibility for New York licensure and 3-5 years of
experience in PA education. Experience in curriculum development,
design, sequence, organization and evaluation is desirable. A
doctoral degree is preferred, however, applicants with a Master’s
degree will be seriously considered.
Responsibilities include coordination of all aspects of the
program’s academic curriculum content, design and assessment,
monitoring student progress and arranging remedial instruction
related to the didactic curriculum, recruitment and coordination of
adjunct instructors and guest lecturers, teaching, mentoring and
advising graduate students. Administrative duties include
participation in various programs and college committees.

The PA program will matriculate its inaugural class in 2016,
pending receipt of provisional accreditation in September 2015. The
