Newburgh, NY -

Pumpkin Picking at Manza Farm

A dozen Newburgh area youths were treated to pumpkin picking at the Manza Family Farm by 20 Mount Saint Mary College students.

Members of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters student organization of Mount Saint Mary College took a dozen “littles” to pick pumpkins at the Manza Family Farm in Montgomery, NY.

This volunteer mentor program is both rewarding and heart-warming as college students invest their time with underprivileged children. Serving as mentors and role models, members experience the power of friendship that stems from the connection they make.
