Mount honors Valentine for 35 years of tuxes

December 05, 2011

After Mount Saint Mary College's annual Christmas Vespers Sunday, December 4, the college recognized Nicholas Valentine, owner and manager of Broadway Tailors in Newburgh and mayor of the city for eight years, for providing classic tailored tuxedos for the choir since the mid 1970s. Pictured with Valentine and his wife Susan are choir director/music professor Durward Entrekin (at left - this was Dr. Entrekin's 19th Vespers) and Mount president Fr. Kevin E. Mackin, OFM, who praised Valentine's years of sartorial generosity.
