Mount Media, the production agency for media studies students at
Mount Saint Mary College, created “Their World, in your Hands,” a
series of 30-second video public service announcements featuring

Parents spoke about life in their country of origin, and the
importance of better education for their children.
The spots were prepared at the Mount Saint Mary College
television studio and editing lab.
Mount students involved included media production students under
the direction of professor Dean Goldberg: Alec Chakery and Peter
Chakery, Floral Park, NY; Rachel Sangalli, Brewster, NY; Lauren
Parrelli, Beacon, NY; Gregory Jacob, Ridgefield, CT; Theresa Stagl,
Kenoza Lake, NY; Margaret Treacy, Monroe, NY; and professor Victor
Azuaje’s Spanish language students Nicole Golder, Smithtown, NJ;

Lapinski, E. Northport, NY; Susan McCallop, Newburgh, NY; Christine

with another Mount student video, “The Newburgh Armory Unity Center
Needs Your Help” by Meghan Darcy of New Windsor, NY, Maureen Tilton
of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Russell Pagano of Cedar Grove, NJ.
