Timeline to College

Fall 2015

January 2016

February 2016

  • File your FAFSA by February 15 to receive your Mount financial aid package in early March. Remember to add the Mount's school code: 002778.
  • Attend New Student Day on February 28 and meet other members of the Class of 2020.

March 2016

  • Watch for your financial aid package from the Mount. If you filed your FAFSA by February 15, you should receive your package by March 15.
  • Attend the Mount's New Student Day on March 13 if you missed the one in February.
  • Already sure the Mount's for you? Pay your admissions deposit online, and secure your place in the class of 2020.

April 2016

  • Set up an appointment with the Office of Financial Aid to discuss payment plan options, and go over any last minute financing issues.
  • Still deciding? Schedule another visit to campus.
  • Pay your admissions deposit by May 1, if you haven't done so already.
  • Take your placement exams, if required, so you can register for classes.

May 2016

  • Admissions deposits are due by May 1. Pay your deposit online to reserve your spot in the class of 2020.
  • If you are taking AP or college credits, email as they may impact what placement exams you need to take.

June 2016

  • Residents: Watch for your housing information in the mail!
  • Complete your housing paperwork if you plan to live on campus.
  • Did you set up a monthly payment plan to pay your bill? If so, your first payment is due next month. 
  • Submit your health forms to the Office of Health and Wellness.

July 2016

  • Attend New Student Summer Orientation on July 7-8 or July 12-13, 2016.
  • Send in your final high school transcript. We need proof of high school graduation to disburse your financial aid.
  • Did you take college courses senior year? If so, request that an official sealed transcript be sent to the Mount's Registrar's Office from the college you attended. Check your academic account to ensure the credits transferred.
  • Submit your first tuition payment.

August 2016

  • Residents: Watch for your housing assignment in the mail.
  • Commuters: Confirm your enrollment. Watch for an email for more information.
  • Attend Opening Weekend events and start your fall classes!
