Freshman and Transfer Residents

Check-In at Aquinas Hall Theatre and Move-In
Freshmen: Specific move-in time based on residence hall floor:

  • Sakac 4th Floor: 8-9 am
  • Sakac and Guzman 3rd floor: 8:30-9:30 am
  • Sakac and Guzman 1st Floor: 9-10 am
  • Sakac and Guzman 2nd Floor: 9:30-10:30 am

Transfer students can move in any time between 8-10:30 am.

All Mount students are welcome to attend this exciting kickoff event! Meal swipes are accepted for an all-you-can-eat barbecue dinner! (Commuter students get free food vouchers.) Come check out this year’s campus life fair! There will be novelties, live broadcasting from Knight Radio, and you can even spin the wheel of prizes to receive free giveaways! All are welcome to attend a welcome week of events to remember!

Commuter Information

All commuter students will be sent a link before Opening Day to complete the validation process. Commuters are invited to pick up their parking pass and/or get a new ID, should they need one, during the first week of classes or on Sunday, August 24. All commuter students are invited to participate in campus life activities on Opening Day. Some activities include: new student activities on Kaplan Sod Field at 1 pm, the Welcome Mass at 5 pm, and the Campus Life Fair and BBQ at 6 pm.

Residence Hall Information

We will begin accepting furniture requests (bed lofting, bed adjustments, etc.) on Sunday, August 24 during your designated move-in time. Requests will be handled on a first come, first served basis and completed within 72 hours. Please remember that college furniture cannot be removed from residence hall rooms at any time.
