Friday, September 27

Ghost Walk
7 pm, Led by Sr. Catherine Walsh ’70, Professor of Communication Arts and Division Chair
It seems a favorite late night topic for conversation among students in dormitories was the ghosts seen all over campus. The Campus Ghost Walk will share those stories and the characters from Mount history that may be making nightly visits to the campus. Come take a walk through the real and not so real world of Mount Saint Mary College. Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Murder Mystery Dinner Show
7:30-10 pm, Hudson Hall Auditorium
Dinner opens at 7:30 pm
Show Begins at 8:30 pm
Join us for a fun filled evening of murder, mayhem, and delicious food! Everyone’s a suspect as you try to guess whodunit with family members and other guests. This dinner theater will include a dinner buffet, cocktails and hors d’oeurves for the whole family. Space is limited.

Saturday, September 28

Continental Breakfast

Kids Arts and Crafts Hour
Presented by the MSMC SGA Get Creative Club
9-10 am, Hudson Hall Glass Lounge
Get on over to Hudson Hall for a kids drop-in craft workshop. Kids are invited to make a wonderful array of craft projects that they will be able to share with friends and family! We ask that children under 15 are accompanied by an adult.

Science Experiments for Kids
Presented by the MSMC SGA American Chemical Society Club
10-11 am, Aquinas Hall
Become a master scientist for the day while having fun and participating in many great experiments! Please only register the children participating. All participants must be accompanied by an adult.

Navigating College Admissions
10 am, Villa Library
Do you have a high school student getting ready to explore where they want to go to college. Whether your child is submitting applications to your alma mater or to other universities across America, sign up for Navigating College Admissions. Come and learn how to select a college, steps to follow as well as when to visit colleges and what to look for and people to see. Also find out how a college selects its class and which is most important: grades, scores or activities?

Estate Planning Presentation: What you need to know today for a better tomorrow

Come and cheer on the former men’s baseball players’ as they take to the field for the 7th Annual Alumni Baseball Game.

Puppet Show
Preformed by the MSMC SGA Different Stages Theatre Club
11:30 am-Noon, Whittaker Hall
Head on over to Whittaker Hall and bring your kids to an engaging and interactive puppet show.

Family BBQ Under the Big Top
Noon-3:30 pm, Guzman Lawn
Relax under the big top and enjoy with your friends and family as you feast on a traditional barbecue that includes chicken, hotdogs, and hamburgers. Get to know other families while you make new memories with your own. Live entertainment, carnival games, and giveaways for the family all day! MSMC students can use a meal from their swipe card for this event.

Fall Festival & Wine Tasting

What better place to enjoy the fall season than the beautiful Hudson Valley. Enjoy some of your favorite fall foods while you meet other families, faculty, and administration. Delicious cocktails, pasta and carving stations, and hors d’oeuvres will be perfect to make a meal out of as you taste, compare and enjoy a variety Hudson Valley wines. Wine tasting is complimentary.

Dinner Cruise on the Hudson
7-10 pm, Newburgh Landing
Enjoy a 3-hour scenic cruise down the Hudson River. Catch up with other families and enjoy a leisurely dinner buffet. Cash bar with valid ID. Space is extremely limited. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.

MSMC Knight of Illusion & Comedy
9 pm, Aquinas Hall Theatre
Let’s make some magic at the MSMC Knight of Illusion & Comedy! Join us for an evening of fun and entertainment as an illusionist dazzles you with magic and makes you laugh the night away.

MSMC Coffee Bar
10 pm-Midnight, Kaplan Family Mathematics, Science & Technology Center Atrium
Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with biscotti and other tasty treats as you relax after your exciting day.

Sunday, September 29

Remembrance Mass
10 am, Founders Chapel
Fr. Kevin E. Mackin, OFM, will again be blessing pets at Mount Saint Mary College after 10 am Mass (around 10:45 am), outside Guzman Hall. Furry, feathered, or finned friends on leashes or in carriers are welcome with their human companions.

Family Farewell Breakfast
10:30 am-Noon, Aquinas Hall, The View
Do you have a long ride home and just want to grab a quick bite before hitting the road? Join us in The View for a continental breakfast after the Remembrance Mass. MSMC students can use a meal from their swipe card for this event.
