On Tuesday, September 29, Dr. Elizabeth Dreyer will present "Accidental Theologians: Four Women who Shaped Christianity" at 7 pm in the Dominican Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Elizabeth Dreyer

Elizabeth A. Dreyer, PhD, is Professor Emerita of Religious Studies at Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT and Adjunct Professor of Historical Theology at Hartford Seminary. Other academic appointments include The Catholic University of America, The Washington Theological Union, and the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN. She is the author or editor of nine books and over one hundred articles, chapters in books, and dictionary entries. She has lectured/taught in the United States, Canada, Belgium, Australia and Israel on topics such as: medieval theology, spirituality and mysticism; women’s spirituality in the Christian Tradition; the role of the intellect/affections in the spiritual life; theology of grace; the Holy Spirit; contemporary lay spirituality; the cross and suffering; and the Ignatian spiritual tradition.
