Affording College: Where Do You Start?

Do you find tax forms taxing? Are you frustrated by FAFSA? Have your questions answered by the professionals on Saturday, February 16 from 9 am to 1 pm at Mount Saint Mary College. The event will be held in the School of Business, Aquinas 100.

A variety of experts will be available at the event for one-on-one college planning consultations. They will demystify FAFSA and college financial aid/award packages, explain the financial aid process, provide resources for tax implications of higher education, share general college affordability tips, and more.

Representatives from TaxAide will be available to meet with families to provide tax preparation advice and any considerations with new tax laws (bring your 2017 tax returns). Spanish translators will also be on hand for ESL families.

This one-stop, drop-in event is open to everyone wishing to plan for their college search, not just students considering the Mount.

Registration is not required, but is recommended to help custom tailor your experience.
