After years as a professional software developer, Micah switched gears and moved into education. He completed his Masters in Instructional Design, Development & Evaluation while teaching English to K-12 students in South Korea and later as an Curriculum Manager for Red Hat, based in New York City. Later, Micah moved to Bloomington, IN, to earn a PhD in Instructional Systems Technology where he focused on computer-supported collaborative learning analytics and human-computer interaction design. After spending time as a faculty member in South Korea, Micah returned to New York to join the faculty at Mount Saint Mary College.
