Vicki Caruana is an associate professor of Education and the coordinator of Graduate Education Programs at Mount Saint Mary College.
Dr. Caruana received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida, a Master of Arts and Master of Education from the University of South Florida, and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of South Florida.
Dr. Caruana’ s background in education includes ten years as a special education and teacher of the gifted in middle schools, including as a Coordinator of the Center for Gifted Studies in Pinellas County Schools in Florida. She has served as the Graduate Program Coordinator and Department Chair of Teacher Education at Regis University in Colorado prior to coming to Mount Saint Mary College.
Curriculum development at the K-12 and Higher Education levels; teaching and learning in higher education; disability studies; literacy for atypical learners; and teacher preparation.
