Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Administration

Download Information Sheet

Business students at Mount Saint Mary College are integrated into the field from day one of freshman year. Learning in the School of Business extends outside the classroom - you'll visit the New York Stock Exchange, network with local and corporate business owners, present at a conference, and participate in one-on-one research with our dedicated faculty members. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to hone your studies even further with optional concentrations, preparing you for specialized careers in sports management, marketing, or finance. With the Mount's money-saving 5-year program, Business students can obtain a bachelor's and master's degree in just 5 years - all from the Mount, with the same professors they already know and love. Regular on-campus panels and trips to local busineses allow students to have a well-rounded, hands-on education in the field, with a curriculum that emphasizes applying business skills not just to land a profitable career, but also to give back to the local community.

Business Management and Administration at the Mount

The Business Management and Administration major provides pre-professional training in business within the context of a comprehensive liberal arts education. The Mount also offers a strong Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. As Business majors, students will be prepared to work in careers within industry, government, or the nonprofit sector, or to pursue further studies at the graduate level. Many internship opportunities exist to reinforce and enhance classroom learning, and students often frame their future careers from these experiences.

Concentrations

The Mount has responded to growing student and local business interests by offering Finance, Marketing, and Sports Management concentrations within the Business major. The college also offers a vibrant Study Abroad program, through which students can earn up to six undergraduate credits while studying in Dublin, Ireland, or other European business centers.

Accreditation

Mount Saint Mary College has received specialized accreditation for its Business and Accounting programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). Learn more about the College's accreditation, or visit IACBE.org
