Marketing is a diverse field that allows you to effect change in the way people see the world. It involves communication, critical thinking, analysis, and creativity in order to influence decision making. One of the most exciting aspects of marketing is that you can use that knowledge to make a difference in just about any industry. Combine your passion with a business-minded marketing focus to create your dream job!

Why study Marketing at the Mount?

The fact that Marketing is a concentration within the study of Business Management and Administration allows you to learn and excel in two fields. In fact, many employers seek out candidates for marketing positions who have a strong background in the field of business. The fact that you can bring both specializations to your resume is an advantage in the competitive job market.

The Mount's approach to business and marketing studies is unique in its focus on using these skills to serve others. For example, instead of just learning about marketing theory, you'll put that knowledge to the test by analyzing and often implementing new marketing plans from area nonprofits and small businesses.

Additionally, as in your traditional Business studies, you'll benefit from professors who are passionate about this field. Our marketing faculty have years of real world experience in the industry and are eager to share their knowledge and skills with you to help you succeed.
