Many students in the Mount's Business program choose to also complete their master's degree in Business Administration at the Mount to further their careers and develop their skills. Therefore, we decided to create a combined bachelor and master's degree program to save you time and money!

What to expect as a Business BS/MBA major
Completing a bachelor's and master's degree in just five years takes hard work, dedication, and careful planning, but you can do it! Throughout the process, your advisor will work with you closely to make sure you are completing all of the requirements for graduation.
As a Business BS/MBA major, you'll start out taking only undergraduate courses your first three years of college. In your fourth year (senior year), you'll begin taking graduate courses will also completing your bachelor's degree. You'll graduate with a bachelor's degree in the spring of your fourth year and then spend the fifth year completing the graduate courses, graduating with a master's degree in the spring of your fifth year.
As an undergraduate students will complete at least 48 credits (16 classes) in Business. Entry into the Business BS/MBA program requires a grade point average of 2.85, both overall and in the major. Then, you will take 34 credits in the MBA graduate program to complete both degrees.

Internships at organizations like IBM, Office of the U.S. Secret Service, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and Newburgh Family YMCA will add to your portfolio of business experiences.
After your preparation in the Mount's School of Business, you'll be ready to succeed in both corporate, government, and nonprofit business positions. Graduates of the BS/MBA program are additionally qualified for leadership positions in these organizations or to pursue doctoral studies.
