As a liberal arts college, the Mount has general education
requirements for all students. These requirements ensure a shared
understanding of the liberal arts with all students taking a
diverse array of courses. These requirements include four courses
in Arts and Letters, three courses in Mathematics and Natural
Sciences, three courses in Social Sciences, three courses in
Philosophy and Religion, and either one course in Computer Literacy
or the successful completion of the computer competency exam.
